Students in the Faculty of Arts have the opportunity to study abroad in over 100 international learning opportunities, including the Faculty of Arts own satellite campus in Cortona, Italy, as well as have access to the Arts HUB Career Centre which hosts the Arts Work Experience (AWE) program.

With a history richly rooted in drawing, painting, and art theory, the Communication Arts program is effectively tailored to provide students educational opportunities to develop the types of quality skills and meaningful understandings that are relevant and sought after in the expanding universe of communication medias. Electives can be selected from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or from other faculties within the university (subject to permission from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences). You will be armed with an understanding of the U.S. constitution, international law and politics, an appreciation for speech, communication and ethics. We’re also home to one of the world’s best film and television schools, the Western Australian Screen Academy. There are many career opportunities in the creative industries for graduates with good communication and technical skills. Grace ‘Connell, BA (Hons) Fashion & Textiles graduate has won the Gold Wolverhampton Enterprise and Employability Award for the Faculty of Arts. Also included in its membership are University staff members and the President of the Student Union. In 1964, the school became independent of the museum and renamed itself the Philadelphia College of Art. The Students’ Union provides democratic representation, support and advice to students across the university.
