Foundations of Arts and Health explores ways to integrate creative practices into health programs and for personal healthcare to promote well-being. In the years previous I had several opportunities to address audiences and work with students at Acadia and I had hoped to continue my working relationship with this leading Canadian liberal arts university. Grants of £100 to £1500 are available to Arts Award centres in England working on Arts Award projects with young people for whom access and inclusion is an issue. This free event is an opportunity to contribute ideas on how training can help grow and enrich arts in health practice, research and policy. LSU College of Art & Design’s 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Carmon Colangelo will deliver the commencement address at the fall graduation ceremony on December 19.
