Our skilled professionals see the arts as an important educational program for young people who have a passion for visual and performing arts. As with all public funded programs there is the possibility that Sports & Arts In Schools Foundation’s funding could be cut or delayed. Nestled comfortably on 170 pristine acres in the Catskill Mountains, French Woods Sports and Arts Center offers the perfect balance of Summer Camp in the mountains with clean living and modern facilities. The data collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and the General Social Survey in particular, provides the means to understanding and enhancing the economic, social and cultural impact of the not-for profit, arts and sport sectors on Australian society.

While the federal government does not have responsibility for delivery of arts and sport facilities and programs at grassroots level (since this falls largely to state/territory and local governments and the not-for-profit sector) it has been widely accepted, at least since the 1980s, that data on participation levels should be collected at national level.

The World Forum on Sport and Culture, hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, is expected to bring together some 4,000 people in Kyoto and Tokyo, including top athletes, artists and business leaders, as well as sports ministers.

Each program operates in a New York City Public School and is directed by a highly qualified and experienced Program Director, with a dedicated staff that includes a Director of Sports and a Director of Arts. French Woods Sports and Arts Center has a fully elective program, which allows campers to choose from traditional and not-so-traditional summer camp activities. Arts programs have yet to report anyone dying while playing a musical instrument or reading a poem.
