Today’s artists and designers communicate with cross-cultural audiences using a wide range of digital media and electronic devices, each requiring a different approach to design. The Center for the Arts is home to the college’s main office, several academic departments and facilities that include a concert hall, recital hall, art galleries, studio and main theaters, dance studios, the Asian Arts & Culture Center and the box office.

Welcome to the creative hub of West Liberty University: the College of Arts and Communication. Electives can be selected from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or from other faculties within the university (subject to permission from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences). You will be armed with an understanding of the U.S. constitution, international law and politics, an appreciation for speech, communication and ethics. We’re also home to one of the world’s best film and television schools, the Western Australian Screen Academy. There are many career opportunities in the creative industries for graduates with good communication and technical skills. The School of Arts and Humanities is for students who want to pursue their true passion – or simply find it. Theatre and communication arts majors comprise communicators excelling in plays, musicals, newspaper or broadcasting (school radio and television or internet communication/blogging/social media).
