Our productions provide children with an opportunity to be a part of a live stage performance. Sukyi Choi-Kim is a private violin teacher, as well as a string instructor in Fountain Valley elementary schools for the Arts and Learning Conservatory. The course is mandatory for research candidates within the Art, Technology and Design programme.
There is always only one pianist on stage and in the center of the attention, while there are many artists with other instruments like violin, trumpets and so on. Children conquer fear of performing very early; they may become super speakers even at the White House later.
Debora embraces her community with participation on various arts commissions like the Cultural Arts Committee for the city of Costa Mesa, the Arts Alliance of California, and the Orange County Music and Arts Administrator Association. Rebecca was a former student at Arts and Learning and has been a member of the A&L family for over ten years now. Research has also found a causal link between music and spatial intelligence, which means that understanding music can help children visualize various elements that should go together, like they would do when solving a math problem. Secondly, learning to read music notes is like learning a new secret language with many symbols. We welcome research students from home and overseas who wish to undertake postgraduate study with us. The centre currently houses a number of funded research projects and its members are actively engaged in research publications.
The Art of Science Learning’s Chicago Incubator for Innovation was hosted by the Museum of Science and Industry, the largest science center in the Western hemisphere. The Canadian Network for Arts and Learning (CNAL) will hold a Founders’ Conference, October 23 – 25, 2013, at Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario, hosted by the Faculty of Education and the UNESCO Chair in Arts and Learning. Stay the course, and welcome the arts integration approach as one that will only widen and deepen the presence of the arts in everyone’s daily life. They support the importance of music-based training programs for children’s education and open new remediation strategies for children with language-based learning impairments. True Music education and the arts improve our society, but they can do way more then just teach students valuable life lessons like working as a team, that could otherwise be taught in any other curriculum. We have partnered with this group for our cultural center for several years and they have great artist-teachers that do amazing work with our kids. Making music involves more than the voice or fingers playing an instrument; a child learning about music has to tap into multiple skill sets, often simultaneously.
