The University of the Arts (UArts) is a university of visual and performing arts based in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania Its campus makes up part of the Avenue of the Arts in Center City, Philadelphia Dating back to the 1870s, it is one of the oldest schools of art or music in the United States. Now in its 31st year, American Celebration features two nights of dazzling entertainment from a cast of over 100 talented students from the award-winning College of Performing Arts featuring live orchestra in fully produced scenes from some of Broadway’s most memorable shows.
St Bride’s came under the control of the London County Council in 1922 and was renamed the London School of Printing and Kindred Trades; in 1949 it was merged with the LCC School of Photoengraving and Lithography, forming the London School of Printing and Graphic Arts.

The university has earned a global reputation for outstanding work, launching the careers of many creative and cultural leaders, including: more than half of all Turner Prize nominees, over half of the designers named British Designer of the Year, more than a third of the 40 artists named in the Catlin Guide’s most promising graduate artists and 12 winners of the Jerwood Photography Awards.
The Quality Assurance Agency’s (QAA) review of the university in January 2013 found that the university meets expectations in the four key areas examined – academic standards, the quality of student learning opportunities, information about learning opportunities and the enhancement of student learning opportunities.
